The origin of a visionary idea
Grecale was founded in Messina in 2014, inspired by the desire to bring a new restaurant concept to Southern Italy to Torre Faro: not a fusion, but the harmonious coexistence of two cuisines that, rather than contaminated, enhance each other. The restaurant's architectural structure reflects this idea: elegant spaces, terraces overlooking the sea, distinct spaces for distinct experiences. The unique landscape of the Strait of Messina provides the backdrop, ever-present, discreet, and powerful.

Two kitchens, two souls, two teams
Sicilian cuisine is entrusted to Andrea Giannetti, a chef with an international reputation and a deep knowledge of the region. Each dish is crafted from carefully selected local ingredients and contemporary techniques. Japanese cuisine, on the other hand, is a temple of rigor and aesthetics, guided by our sushi chefs. Each brings their own culture, history, and technique to every dish, from uramaki to ramen. The teams are independent, as are the menus.
